Testing, inspection and certification services for Information Technology (IT) & the Internet of Things (IoT)

Eurofins accredited test laboratories, certification bodies and competence centers provide services for placing IT and IoT products onto global markets.

We offer testing and certification services specifically related to electrical and electronic Information Technology Equipment and the Internet of Things for global market access including CE marking, US FCC, Canadian SCC approvals and automotive e-marking. IoT International homologation and alliance services include, but are not limited to:

Testing services for compliance with international regulations and Directives include:

Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC)

Under the EMC Directive, 2014/30/EU, IT and IoT products are mainly covered by the multimedia standards EN 55032 and EN 55035, but others such as specific product standards and generic standards may apply. Your Eurofins E&E laboratory in Switzerland will be able to advise you on the most appropriate standards to certify your product for CE marking and other global certifications.

Electrical Product Safety

Our accredited Electrical Safety testing for compliance with the Low Voltage Directive, 2014/35/EU includes IEC/EN 60950-1 and IEC/EN 62368-1 which covers IT & IoT testing services for CE Marking.

We also offer CB scheme certification for global market access including the MET-Lab mark for access to North America and Canada.

Radio & Wireless

The Radio Equipment Directive (RED), 2014/53/EU, covers radio spectrum matters as well as EMC and safety aspects. For EMC and safety testing the standards listed under the directives 2014/30/EU and 2014/35/EU can be applied.

We offer radio testing for equipment with embedded wireless technology; whether it be to check pre-tested modules incorporated into your product or full compliance testing.

Testing to EN 300 220, EN 300 330, EN 300 328, EN 300 440 and the EN 301 489 series is offered to address both the radio and radio-emc aspects of the product.
